Threw one of these dongles onto my holiday wish list this year. If it shows up, where do I download the "@Diggs24 Stage 1 93 Blow Up My Turbo So I Can Get a Bigger One" tune? That's how this works, right?

Hello friends today my Open port 2.0 arrived and it was my first flash....I flash a original file for update my ECU version of my golf 7 GTi Dsg 2013 from 5G0906259 to 5G0906259C version I flash a TCU to with a file too....I have successfully no problem with flash car runs and no problems with gearbox...

Not everything its perfect I have permanently errors on 1 module motor (doors and TCU communication) and 13 module radar I don't know if is coding or any incompatibility, coding is the same both version 259 or 259c.View attachment 244277View attachment 244279

Yes, absolutely. I think the newer emissions update files are the 5G0906259T files, FYI.

For simos18.10 (what you have) just be sure to open the hood, set stmin to 1000 in the dropdown menu, and do full flash locked. This is basically identical to a dealer doing a flash update or something like that.

Good, no unlock to deal with.
I downloaded the 5G0906259T version 0003 FRF file. VW shows it for 2021+ GTI/GLI. What benefit with newer emissions? Any other changes? I wish there was an update history to see what changed with these different versions. I had a cruise control error while running 5G0906259Q version 0007 that VW could not recreate. No problem with 0002. Maybe it got fixed in 5G0906259T.

The big question is, where do I start? I know I want to use tunerpro (mainly because its free). I also know I need to get a Simos dongle. My goal is to put a big turbo on my gli and blow it up and then do it all over again until I get it right. Any help would be great
