Oil Pan Leak?

So this is appears to most likely be an oil pan leak? It looks like it's kind of creeping up where the RMS is? Also I see posts about plastic vs metal pans and sealant vs gaskets, I was seeing that there is a plastic pan on Amazon with a gasket if anyone had any experience with it. I just recently replaced the upper timing cover because it was leaking and when I went under the car to clean up the oil I found this mess, I pump my oil from the top hence why the leak went unnoticed for so long. Thanks

clean it off, find out where it's coming from.
i'm sure there's tons of aftermarket plastic pans out there, probably simplest to replace it with a metal pan + sealant if it's from the pan itself. make sure you replace the gasket on the oil sensor.

Do you know the oil level sensor oring part number by any chance? Difficult to find online

Mine was leaking.
Was tracking a mystery leak, shop eventually dyed it. Turned out to be the pan.

Had it replaced, need to also replace the baffle (one time use per vw repair manual on 15’s at least). and gasket or sealant (I can’t remember but believe it was sealant).

I was the first at my shop, happens but not super common.

As mentioned, keep an eye on it and replace when it’s a steady flow which mine was.
