Yeah, I've never really done them on previous cars before, but wanted to do some as I slowly extended my interval towards 10k to see what happened. I'll probably skip them from here on out unless there's a potential issue.

The only issue is viscosity retention. In the 10 cSt range so 30 grade.

Yeah, they made that comment any time it showed up in bold. I'm pretty sure it aligns with when I switched over to the LM Leichtlauf since that's what my indie stocks.

the main reason to run 40 grades on these motors is they hammer oil into 30 grades, but these cars come with extremely tight clearances. if my oil ends up being the same viscosity as the sticker under the hood that's not an issue.

What a scam. Has anyone ever gotten a bad analysis? I need to start up one of these companies. Make bank giving you a sheet of random numbers and a chatGP statement about how great your car is so you can masturbate to it. Maybe instead of candy send you a pack of tissues and a packet of lube with every report.
Here's a bad report from my 99 wrangler. End result was a bad head gasket.

Firstly, blow me. Tiego and I were clearly being sarcastic and it's obvious. If you can't recognize that you shouldn't be on the Internet. Tiego and I have both done extensive Blackstone tests and that's why we're commenting on the random comments about one oil being better than others with no lab reports.
Usually sarcasm is obvious and funny, your comment was neither. To insinuate that I'm regarded in the way your post read... wasn't funny to anyone other than your bf. It's okay - we can agree to disgaree here.

I never claimed T6 was better than anything else. I stated it works great in several different platforms & and have the data to support my bias.

Did you not see the massive amount of Blackstone data I posted in post #76? I'm aware of how this works and why I asked the question. Can you tell which oil worked better or worse in that mountain of data? It's a variety of different oils as I stated.

My question still stands - what specifically in your BS reports indicates that T6 did any better than any other oil would have in your car/mower/etc.? BTW, I don't think T6 is a bad oil, it's just nothing special and there are better choices in a 40 grade for the same/similar price based on the approvals those oils carry and what they mean w/r to how these oil perform in your gasoline engine. I can run about any oil in my car and the BS reports will look the same/similar w/r to wear metal rates.
I never stated its better than anything else. I understand reading comprehension and your ego are colliding. My comment still stands. What specifically, do you not understand? I'd be happy to help.

If I can buy (1) type of oil, to use in several platforms... there's inherent fiscal value right there.

You can do the same with a Euro 40 grade for the same fiscal value and use a better product than the T6 in the VW. I have neither and ego nor a reading comprehension issue here. I wanted to know why you think T6 "works great" based on the data you have - what specifically on those UOA reports showed that and led you to say that? That's all I was after.
