Those are OEM VW Brescia wheels, from the GTi Clubsport. My TR Golf is my first non white or silver car. I went to the dealer intending to buy reflex silver and they had the same spec car in TR... on a whim I brought it home, 4 years later and I have no complaints.

Brescia wheels are 19" I believe... you're in NY though, go for 17's, haha.

I know I'm supposed to get 17" but I love the bigger wheel. 19" is crazy. I'd be replacing tires every week. I've had 18" tires on 2 VW's and 2 Audi's and never had an issue. If it snows enough to get that deep I stay home!

There are many aftermarket companies that make replicas of this wheel and my other favorite...the Englishtowns/Speilburgs. Do you happen to know which aftermarket wheel companies are the best?

Red is the best, it's why I got a GTI! My other car is also red and I love them both.

As stated, those are factory Brescia wheels and I won't ever be changing them. Here in Australia the Polo GTI also gets an 18" version of them, so that might be a compromise, if you're able to get them.

People here like to choose "traditional" colors for their cars: black, white, silver; it's very boring to walk in the parking lot and find only these colors. When I bought mine 3 years ago I tried to break this car color scheme
