so I came across a post in the forum, put the link below...
ppl are running 245/35/19 setups... saw someone post they have a RSe102 19x8.5 et 45 with Indy 500 245/35 .... I was thinking of replacing that tire with a Michelin PS4S 245/35
according to tirerack.com they are the same dimensions... what do you think ? @GTIfan99 @Chogokin

Tire Rack's measurements are usually pretty good, so likey they are very close.

As far as someone else having x tire fit, so it should fit your car isn't that easy. You've taken wheel size and offset into account, but not alignment and ride height. The other person would have to have same side height and camber front and rear to draw any conclusions on whether it will fit your car.

A lot of times...you won't know if it fits until you try it. With a 245 and 19's...I would think you'd have run some decent camber up front too. The 245 will also be taller. When it comes to tire sizes from different manufacturers...not all of them measure a tire the same way. If its anything like bike tire companies...you'll have wildly varying widths when it comes to the actual width of a tire in the same "size". I've had 2.35 tires that measure 2.4...and others that measure 2.2.

Out of curiosity...how much more of a real world performance difference does a 245 offer compared to a 235?

Actually found it...

a 235/35/19 PS4s has a treadwidth of 8.5 and 245/35/19 has 8.6 so no performance gain to be honest

The 245 does look noticeably taller than a 235.

What products did you use?
This was the day after I took it to my local detail shop. They use a lot of the Gtechniq products from what I know. I take it to them twice a year for a thorough clean and coating of things I’m too lazy to do.

When I clean the car I typically use a chemical guys soap via foam gun for a quick soak and then do a 2 bucket wash. I use an acid free wheel cleaner for the wheels, and then Glass-X and gtechniq quick detail after wash and drying the car. beasley’s products for cleaning the dash & I scotch-guard the fabric interior every 4-6 months.
