This track rocks. My car is a piece of crap. Only took two data laps and only took one with video so here it is. Much faster than last time I was here. Car was doing power cuts on the straight all day, not exactly sure why. I suspect its probably pcv related, going to do the normal stuff to try to mitigate that. Corded my front left v730 after a shockingly low number of hours (less than half as many as last, smaller, v730). Inside is OK outside is not OK. Maybe 38 hot is not enough for a car with this much grip and this little camber. Maybe the pinch fit killed it quickly. Not really sure. Sorting out what to do next. Funky stagger continues to be an adventure, but mostly good so long as you maintain the heat adverse rears.

My third time at Club, first time in the Golf. BL PCV seems to work as I had no power being pulled, major knock corrections, or noticeable oil consumption. The car is comically undersprung, making for some interesting behaviour over some of the bumps. After cording my rear tires in the morning, I drove half the day with Bagel's street tires on the rear. Surprisingly the car didn't become too lose with the tire stagger, although I didn't push it too hard. On one of my wheels, the lug bolts worked themselves loose, so that's a reminder for everyone to check lugs between sessions. Here's my fastest lap from the day, featuring a traction control moment and mismatched tires.

That track looks terrific. I had heard through Armin of MassTuning that this may be the last year that Club Motorsports is available to non-club groups.

Have you heard anything like that while at the track? I couldn't make any events there this year, but would love to give it a shot.

I didn't hear anything, but also didn't talk to Armin or the Club official much when I was there. It would be a real shame to lose access to the track.

First time at NYST. I split the weekend co-driving with a friend, so we each had 3 sessions per direction. Didn't have enough seat time to get fully comfortable (especially in CCW), but enjoyed learning a new track. Lot's of elevation changes and undulations, that really caused my car to float with it's soft suspension. This lap has lots of room for improvement, but isn't completely embarrassing:

3rd HPDE for me and first time at ECR. Pretty nice track with some awesome facilities. Still in green group so only got a couple laps without slow/late point by traffic and I know I left a lot of time out there on most corners. Will definitely be going back and hopefully get down into 2:1X territory.
