Hi all. Stole this idea from Miata.net but figured it would be great to have a thread to centralize lap times for the track junkies on this forum. (I want to know just how slow I am).

These are the fields we will be tracking for each entry. Please use the below Google form to complete your entries.

The key to making this work is having some individual maintain a summary list sorted by track name in the first post of a “Sticky” thread. Otherwise it will simply turn in to a lengthy thread that nobody wants to wade through to find times for a particular track. Times must be backed up with video evidence to be counted. A good example can be found on the Camaro6 forum, which I won’t link to avoid being reprimanded......

I agree video or transponder data would be nice. Once there is enough data points we can put together an Excel/Google Drive spreadsheet similar to what the 1/4 mile thread has. I’d be willing to put that together and maintain it, I’m interested to see how we all stack up.

Is there no way to search within the thread? You are totally right about wading through pages trying to find a specific track. I guess a forum search would get the job done but is less clean? I'm definitely down for having everything consolidated in an excel doc as well if that is easier. @Will_ thanks for volunteering

Video is definitely preferred, but I don't think it should be required. I'd rather have more times posted than less. In all reality, if someone is posting fake times on this thread to try and impress a bunch of strangers, they need to do a life rethink...
