Those are some sick shots. Where did you get the color-matched front VW emblem overlay?

Interesting; I emailed them awhile back about color match (Dark Iron Blue, in my case) and they said it wasn't possible. Glad to hear they swung it for GFG, though! Looks great.

Had to say goodbye to my GFG mk7 in November due to an accident. No injuries other than my broken heart. 2025 was a hard year for my 7.5, first a blown coilover that took 5 weeks to come in back in April, on Father's Day my transmission went and took the clutch with it, my starter went the Friday I was trying to get to Lo'e Show, then November I wrecked it.

This memories, stories, experiences, etc this car was part of will never be forgotten, as it was incredibly special to me.

The mk8 GTI has big shoes to fill, so road trips will begin once the weather is better.
