I did old logo, matte black background, Other color - Leave Note and I asked for Cornflower Blue matched insert.

I've got a friend who's son has started getting into automotive photography, and he's been wanting to shoot my car since I picked it up in February. We had some time yesterday after church, so we met downtown, and he got some really nice pics.

You're right! Here's Conrail "GP-8" 5462 (a former Reading GP-7) at Bethlehem, PA in July 1982. Not a bad color match at all.

How many of y'all have ever seen another 2021 Cornflower? I've seen two, both at VW meets, but never any on the road. I've seen one 2019 on the road. We saw each other, turned and met in a parking lot, both astonished to see another Cornflower in the wild. Even at the local VW Dealer, some salespeople have asked if I had custom paint.

I have never seen one in the wild. GTI's of any color are pretty rare in my neck of the woods.

I have only had mine for a few weeks, but that color really grabs your attention so I haven’t seen any myself only saw one at a car meet when I was in the process of buying mine.

Just within a day of driving the car I have had three separate people comment about how nice the color is.

I saw one on the road this morning lol. Had the Belvederes so was a 2021 Autobahn

I took these at the Shelby, NC show in early September 2025. The first is mine. They saw it and invited me to pull onto the grounds. The other picture is of a show car. Along with the other goodies, I see that the owner has added a piece that fills the gap behind the radiator. I think VW omitted these on the MK-7s years ago because they didn't fit firmly and would fall off. They are available as a part, but the last time I looked they were north of $100.
