So got a letter from state farm today, a summary of my back surgery I got last summer. Thank goodness for personal injury protection, it was just shy of 100k.

Is it me, or are there a bunch of recent threads dealing with tickets?

This time of year a lot of jurisdictions do speeding ticket campaigns. Here in NOVA we call this "Coptober" where they're EVERYWHERE.

There's one section of a road near me where a cop would stand on an overpass lasering you from behind as you pass beneath him and radio you to the cars up positioned ahead. So many people got nailed this way they must have hit a local politician because the cops got an email saying not to do that anymore.

I have gotten 2 letters from Bob King VW in the past week.

Both hand addressed to me, wanting me to come get the GTI inspected, and wanting me to trade it in on something.

I understand that these sort of things are sent out all the time, but as big of a stink as they said I caused, I would think they'd want to forget about me.

It's quite annoying.

Dealers always send those letters, I've received some too with hand written type of font.

Yeah, I know.

It's just annoying that I'm 'banned', and have to drive an hour each way to get my shit serviced, yet they still send shit to my house.

But, this is probably my first and last VW, anyway. I just don't see myself purchasing another FWD for a long time.

Yeah, friend of mine had an '08 Starfire Pearl IS250 in High School.

Shortly after graduation, an Explorer decided to use it as a brake from 55mph.
