"SSP755- Tiguan/Passat 2024 electric and electronics systems" have many interesting things about topology/connections with new MQB Evo gateway, but I thing that most interesting in case of our charger is:

Charger in SSP755 is still called R265, is connected to CAN FD Comfort systems 2, but interesting thing is that, even if is CAN FD, maximum speed is 500kbit/s, same as CAN HS (regular, high speed CAN)
CAN FD Comfort systems 2 is "manipulation protected" (UN ECE R155 compliant I supose) with all door modules and BCM/Immo connected to it
CAN FD Comfort system 2 has 120ohm terminator on gateway and 120ohm on BCM
CAN in charger is used to send data about SOC of the phone to show it on MIB, send errors like overheating, obstacles, etc. , to receive activate/deactivate charging signal commanded by MIB. 6th pin is used by Kessy to deactivate charging when Kessy is looking for keys inside the car

Is it because wireless charger can interfere with key signal?

In some margin, most probably yes. Because someone can just put the key close to the charger, that can generate electromagnetic field and in some way disrupt the signal.

Although 5CG charger is working well, I'm actually a bit sad that 3P0 charger probably is not going to work.. I really can see the difference in reception when phone is in the cubby. Reception in the region I live is definitely poor. I would like to retrofit the external antenna, but it is not possible with 5CG. Could the wireless charger also interfere with LTE frequencies?

Hard to tell, As frequencies of key remote, kessy, and LTE are different, so you have different range, popagation, different material blocs different frequencies more more than others, etc. So topic is very difficult and outside my knowledge

Understand it, but probably it does a bit, with the electric field and low frequencies the charger sends out. But I could (have to) live with the situation, that I use it for long distances, where normally reception everywhere is better than here.

Also actually never tried 5NA, wil do some test, just for comparison, because I actually didn't try it since I have it.

The airflow configuration I put in the GSW had a slightly smaller central airfoil piece than the one I showed above. So unlike the R, the GSW continued to experience charging error, albeit much less than before. However, I thought it might be fun to see if I could come up with a better design. While not much different, I went with a nozzle style design with the hope of creating even the slightest net negative pressure on the fan side, while also supporting the phone in the middle. Now I probably just need a thin sheet gasket over it for to actually get it to work. 🤣

@Kushdaiin, Nice to see you experimenting 😄. When keeping problems, consider to increase the thickness of your inlay even more. You might consider my last design also in post #256. There the air actually flows against the back of the phone.

Yesterday I tried the original 5NA charger for comparison. Just because I would like to retrofit the external antenna. And at first I was actually pretty optimistic, because my phone charged 2 percent in about 15 minutes, with AA etc. I could actually live with this number, as long as it could keep up, and not draining the battery. Yes, it doesn't charge as fast as the 5CG, but at this point I couldn't say that the 5CG is 3 times faster also.

But in the evening I drove a little further, after about an hour, I took the phone out of the cubby, and it was insanely hot. You could actually see that the phone was throttling because probably the phone clocked down CPU speed etc. Also I noticed sometimes during the trip that the QI logo was greyed out, but the phone wasn't fully charged at all. Probably also the phone interrupted charging because overheating. This caused that the phone barely could keep up charging (+2%) after a one hour drive, I can imagine that longer drives possible drain the battery, because of overheating. Also, it can't be good for your phone when it is hot like that.

So today I'm going to reinstall my 5CG and keep it that way. For the moment for me it's the best solution. For my opinion it is even more reliable than the 5NA, where I sometimes just slightly needed to reposition the phone before it started charging, where I don't have that at all with the 5CG.

@Meesters its interesting. I have to say that since I added the cardboard inserts, my phone has yet to get all that warm. I'll need to do some additional testing but I'm thinking the natural convective air around the phone seems to be sufficient and that cooling the pad (or at least not having the pad, phone, and insert sandwiched together) is key.

@Kushdaiin, I agree, but I noticed when blowing air directly to the back off the phone keeps it even cooler. But again it seems to be sufficient to keep everything cool enough, and it is discreet.

My thanks to @Kushdaiin for the extra rubber mat and @Meesters for DIY advice and diagrams -- can confirm the middle-cutout method that sends air directly under the phone seems to work really well. Where I previously saw just a few % increase + overheating, I'm now seeing 10+% increases over 20 minutes w/ nav and no throttling. Helps that it's getting cooler out, certainly, but this feels like a solid improvement so far.

I've been experimenting a bit with the mat, too. I often use a charger on the long ways while using carplay and I get the phone overheated. However, it always charges approximately to 80% and then stops as you can see on the screen - that orange part on the right side of the graph. You can also see that note about pausing the charging due to the temperature.
Maybe I'll cut out those 2 squares which might block the airflow or I'll somehow adjust their shape.
