Opinions of those who have seen both...which looks better with the stock honeycomb faux carbon fiber of the 2017 GTI, the piano black or the silver?

I went with piano black with the intention of changing the rest as well, but honestly it doesn't stand out that much. Those types of things typically bother me but this doesn't, and nobody in my car has ever said anything about it either.

Mauricio, do you have pictures of the grey bezel. I have a 2017 Alltrack S and want to upgrade to the 8" radio non nav.

I've got a 2019 Golf S A/T and was wondering if this would be plug and play. I've seen some conflicting information about whether I'd get error codes and need dealership programming.

Also mine doesn't have the same bezel as a lot. It looks like this which is a 2018 model but looks identical to mine: https://imgur.com/RGswtbF. There's now bezel that goes around the knobs, just the display itself.

Edit: I see in the eBay listing it isn't compatible with my basic model. Does anyone know where the head unit is located and if I have other options for replacement?

The MIB2 comes with Navigation option, but you have to insert GPS Navigation SD Card Map from your country. you can always use Carplay and then Waze or google maps will be available.

Factory nav is required for maps to display in the virtual cockpit/digital instrument cluster which is why I ask; in the U.S. the SE trim didn't come with it.
