NSF Disc brake backing plate fell off!

Hi all,

My NSF Brake disc backing plate fell off today and was making horrendous noise. I took the wheel off and just removed it as it was completely loose.

Any big issue with not replacing? Seems like it would need the brake disc to come off too.

Yep brake disc needs to be removed..which also means the brake caliper…..I'd put some copper grease on the back of the new shield where it rest for the screws & use stainless steel bolts...this will stop it rusting through again..
