Hi all.
I have a Golf 7 Sportsvan 1.6 TDI 110CV.
From the outset the car is very quiet. However from day one I notice an exhaust hum in the 2100-2400 rpm zone when you are accelerating. It is the typical low frequency dull and annoying sound, like a resonance and I only hear it in my left ear. Difficult to explain. I have indicated it at the dealership, but they say they have not found anything. This weekend I have made a trip of about 900 km and I have finished the buzz to the cap. It coincides that at those revolutions you go 120-130 on the highway, which is what you usually go to. On slopes and flat with inertia it does not sound, but when you accelerate to maintain speed, it appears. It even prevents hearing the radio well. It sounds in all gears in that rev band, but when it bothers you is when you constantly go there (on the highway).
