Hi,
2013 gt. I bought extended 5 year warranty from VW when in got the car.
For some reason I get an error message that the front sensor is not working and ACC cannot be activated. This happens repeatedly during a drive.
I booked it in to dealer and was told I had to leave a £99 deposit in case the fault was not under warranty and they could be paid for their time.
Slightly foxed by this. As it is an intermittent fault I am sure to pay the £99.
Any ideas?

If the device is picking up too many errors for whatever reason then the message may display.
I hope you didn't leave the deposit.

Thanks,
I cancelled the visit and phoned VW customer care who said paying for diagnostics was standard but were surprised at the £99
Found another dealer who says, just book it in.
I will film it as at least it proves the fault is there.
