Looks like VW is fixing the problem via performance monitor . Instead of doing the math, they are changing the coding to read just boost.
Hopefully it gets released soon

Your master tech isn't vetting his info properly then lol. This is 100% from a tuner and not a factory software update.

Reverse image search is a Google function - you can drag and drop images into a Google image search (or just right click in Chrome) and it will find that image or images close to it on the web. First result when searching with your image above was a link to their IG.
