the concept would work, but its the thread that wears over the years make the idea not very environmentally friendly. I wonder how much one of these tires weighs vs one filled with air?

Yeah I actually saw a car running these in real life last week, was a Prius - some company car for a local green energy brand

very slowly. The only large scale deployment I have seen with these is on industrial equipment and military vehicles.

Assuming these handle/feel similar to my Crossclimates, I'm in. Not having to check my pressures monthly when its -15 in the winter would be great. Also I'm guessing these would end up having a sidewall to stop anything from getting stuck in the spoke things...I hope at least
