Forget bench calibration- if you're using the IS20 wastegate actuator, just measure the length of the actuator rod whilst it's still installed on the stock turbo, and then set it to same length on the new one. I did that when I installed my DTR and it was right on the money

This can sometimes get you in the ballpark but isn't always fully correct, so you end up checking and likely adjusting anyway.

Idk why y'all have such a hatred toward splicing a couple wires together and using a multimeter to bench calibrate. It's really simple

A wrench I can understand - it has weight to it, I can see how big the pieces need to be, and it only takes me 3 tries to get it turning in the right direction.

Wires and electricity stuff is of the devil - The numbers are negative sometimes for no reason, so you don't know if bigger is better, and the magic smoke can leave at any moment and make my stuff not work.

Brother you are speaking my language! Physical things make all sorts of sense but electricity is theoretical and you just can't trust it

finally got tracking for my turbo, now time to impatiently refresh it til it comes. I literally had a dream where it came and it was smaller than the IS20 though
