This sounds a lot like the setup I had in mind. Full E, RS3 LPFP, and something in the 925-930 range. Legit pump or Zhongzhong? I know there's been some concern about the latter versus the former, but I think with the 2867 I'll be alright

I assume it's legit. I bought it from StorableComa, his site says it's OEM.

Either way though, never had an issue with it. Been over a year and ~20k miles

I wasn't planning on going BIG injectors, IIRC I was seeing kits as small as 930s. TBH my goal is 400/400 if not higher, which should be fairly easy to do. On 93 and IS20 I've seen around 400lb-ft so I don't think it's a long way off. It might wind up being 980s though because I put my faith in @Diggs24
You can do 450 on that turbo all day long. I vividly remember a YT vid where one barked out like 496. Not sure if that was using E or not. 450 should be a walk in the park. Are you limited by clutch torque rating? Just curious because this is why when I replaced my ACT clutch I went ahead and went with the one rated at 550 torque. I had Mamba 3067 on the brain and still do.

I have the PR MPI kit with 925cc injectors. On full E85 the RS3 LPFP isn't breaking a sweat. Definitely don't need the big boy injectors on the smaller hybrid turbos.

Can post dyno numbers tomorrow if inquiring minds need to know what that nets you on a standard Vortex.
Do you have the PR upgraded fuel lines ? Just wondering if I really need them or not.

I don't know if the community has come to a consensus on this or not but my assumption was you're testing the limits at 500hp and that may be the reason to aim lower. That's mostly the reason I'm getting it dyno'd, I want to know where I landed and if we've gone too far.

I do have the fuel lines. Dunno if they're worth it, I installed them with the MPI kit the day after I put in the LPFP so there's no real before or after comparison I can make. Their marketing material says they're worth it so they must be, right? They were only $120 so yolo

I would venture to guess most people running MPI did not upgrade their lines and aren't having issues. But if you believe PR at their word, it does allow for more fuel flow and thus more power if you're willing to push everything that far.

Aren’t fuel lines only required when you’re having to request massive amounts of fueling….like JerseyDrew’s time attack roller? lol

I'm on South Bend Stage 3 Daily, so my goals are pretty reasonably within what the clutch will take. Definitely looking to keep it conservative though.

If you're going full E with MPI 400/400 should be a major cake walk- the 2867 is bigger than my DTR if I'm not mistaken, and I'm around 400whp on 93 with stock fueling. I'd imagine you'd be able to comfortably push 450+ whp with that setup

IIRC spool should be similar enough to an IS38, and of course my overall goal is to run day to day on 93 but use flex capability for summer/nice weather/when I've got something prearranged.

I should really address brakes

I can't say it's not on my mind, but it's (another) costly thing

and because I have an awful mind for this type of thing all I can think of is how much money it's gonna cost to do brakes, front sway bar, get race tires and pads for the AX car, refinish our basement, the list goes on and on

I do the same but if I worry too much then shit doesn't get done. I been since my car was new getting it to where it is. Typically I do one or two major mods/projects a year, which I think is totally acceptable.

Yeah spool should be pretty good, your cold side will be bigger than the DTR but you won't have the large hotside that causes the lag. That's going to be a riot to drive!

Macan calipers would looks sweet behind your wheels😉 honestly though switching to EBC yellows or comparable should be effective enough for street use
