There are differences, but not huge.
I went 13.125 @ 1450 DA and 12.995 @ 333 DA with the JB1 turned higher. Modern boosted cars really do well when it comes to being consistent between differing air densities (within reason) as they target torque.

The best I have uploaded is my 13.511, I've done several 13.4s and a 13.2. Can't find any of the slips. Huge bummer. And my gopro is yet to be found since my move. Hopefully they all show up. Hoping to match or beat my best tomorrow. Full weight (2915 w/driver), no reduction. Stock 195/65R15 continental pro contacts. Was at Norwalk aka Summit Motorsports Park. NHRA track.

Found a 13.728 in my glovebox from June this year. Was too hot for good times, everyone was slow. 9 sec cars could only get high 10s.

- 3 gallons E85 + remainder of the tank 0% ethanol 91 octane (equaling E20-ish)
- 3200 lbs with driver (approximately, 2 door 6MT with full interior)
- Stock all seasons @ 22psi
- JB1 with map as-shipped (no tweaks to the map yet)
- 85 degrees, gusty with 15-25 mph headwinds

Also have an Autotech intake, 034 dogbone insert, and the torque limiter & ESC have been disabled via OBD11.

I was really hoping to break into the 13's at around 104 mph. Maybe next year with no headwind.

Drop that 60' time down and you'll be deep into the 13's. I also don't think the E85 is really doing anything since you are not tuned to take advantage of it. It might help a tiny bit, but not as much as it would be if you were able to change the timing specifically for the E85

Unfortunately I think for now I'm limited with the stock all seasons. Once they burn up, I'll definitely pick up some good summers. But yeah, in any case, 13's are definitely in my future when the track re-opens next spring.

Regarding E85: I don't have a dyno run to back it up, but it sure feels quite noticeably faster with the mix. I wonder if timing was being pulled on straight 91, and a couple gallons of E85 splashed in prevents that. Sure, could just be placebo, but I've heard similar reactions, even for those like me with just a JB1 and not a full tune.

I ran mine for the first time last night. 17 GTI S 4 door 6 speed manual only mod is CTS intake

Bradenton Motorsports Park, Florida
Temps mid-60's

Best time was 14.5 @ 97mph with a terrible 2.4 60'

I never launch my car and clearly need practice. I had lots of wheel hop on a very well prepped track. Best trap of the night was 98mph on a 2.6 60' so the car is a low 14 second car with a good launch.
