New GT Estate Ordered!

Did anyone get this car lately? I'm waiting to receive mine but I'm really uncertain if I will get the 140PS or the 150PS version of the TSI engine.

Mine has a confirmed (status 20) build week 40 which starts Monday 29th September 2014. The order is still showing the "old" 140PS Euro 5 engine...........

I will be fitting an ABT piggy-back ECU which will boost to 170PS & 290NM.................

Mine is already built and will be delivered the end of this month (I hope). I cannot do the same modification to the engine as you plan to do since I got the 7 shift DSG box which is rated at max 250Nm.

Funny though is the link to the production plant that TheSwede posted above. There the staff is pictured around an Golf Estate GT (which is named Variant Highline i Germany) with the 1.4 150PS engine.

But I'll guess time will tell though at this stage all points toward that I will receive the 140PS Euro5 engine.

The 150PS euro6 engine is made for Germany only in Golf Estate.....rest of world gets 140PS Euro5...........

As for the DSG gearbox check with ABT as I am sure I saw an ECU for that DSG & engine so should be ok...........they lower the NM output & they work with VW............ABT build the DTM cars for Audi............they do the best ECU in terms of warranty & not messing up the engine..........

Got the VW tracker saying "in Transit" now....................just need to get the garage ceiling repaired..................after the person in the flat above flooded it out!...........idiots!!!!!

Got my Golf 1.4 dsg Estate delivered to my door on Friday. Very pleased with black paintwork and shetland cloth seats.
Will take me a while to adjust to auto hold - found it tricky reversing into slightly uphill drive - snatchy. Maybe try turning off auto hold when reversing?
Love the driving experience, plenty of reserve power in 1.4 tsi engine
