At the risk of starting a thread like the OTHER wheel thread.... :) here I go.

Took the Englishtowns off the car tonight, and put on these Enkei Raijin's. Managed to score these wheels brand new quite cheap.

They are 19x8 ET45, and I just reused the Continental tires that were on the Englishtowns for now. I wasn't going for super dope fitment or anything, just really disliked those Englishtown wheels. This wasn't my first wheel choice, but for the money ... I'm a happy camper! I really like the flush mount center caps vs the usual Enkei center cap too.

I weighed one wheel before having them mounted, and it was just a shade under 23lbs on my hot garbage bathroom scale. I'm too lazy to get one of the Englishtowns down out of the attic, but I believe they are 26-27lbs.

The car maybe feels a little lighter on its feet, but to be fair... I was after appearance more than anything.

Any noticeable weight savings over the Englishtowns?

I will likely be in Germany again soon, I will have to make sure to swing into Wolfsburg to express my displeasure with the Englishtown wheel lol...

I have these in 18x8 for my GTI. I really like them. Bonus is that they don't look so bad when they are dirty unlike the Nogaros that they replaced.View attachment 171785
The Nogaros are beautiful when clean, but they're hard to clean, and the gloss black looks awful when coated with dust.

Nice upgrade

As much as I love Enkei's performance line, this style is more "flowy" than I would want for myself, but that is 1000% my personal taste. Your car in those pictures looks amazing with the wheels and super clean. Well done!

Begging for some 5mm front and 10mm rear spacers IMO ;)

I love that mix of that body and rim color!
