Neuspeed RSE10 Tire Setup Questions

Hey guys.

Just got me a pair of Neuspeed RSE10's in a 18x8.5 ET45 size for my MK7 GTI. I'm currently lowered on Bilstein PSS B14 coilovers and was wondering what fitment options do I have in terms of tire size. It seems like people are running a bunch of different tire sizes and I can't seem to nail which tire set up is best. I'm eyeing 245/40/18 or 255/40/18 but don't know if thats too big of a tire for the car. Rubbing isn't an issue as I can adjust height and the fender screw mod has already been done.

Any suggestions would be great, I'm kind of new to aftermarket wheel stuff and I don't know exactly what I want.

If you decide to step up to 255, I'd go with a 35 sidewall as the diameter would be an exact match to the stock 225/40. If you do want a little extra sidewall, then 245/40 would be the better choice. I'd guess 245/40 and 255/35 would have similar fender clearance based the difference between width and diameter. 235/40 is also a solid choice but I can understand if you want a wider tire, just depends on your preference.

How do you like the tracksport coilovers? I really wanted to get them if I didnt already have BCs on.
So far I’m really liking them! They are definitely stiffer than the H&R street perf coilovers I had previously, but they feel much more planted and less bouncy.

Nice man I'm glad you're you're enjoying them. It's kinda hard to justify the price unless I'm seeing some significant track data. I was more worried that with them being a true rear coilover, it would minimize the wheel clearance for those running really wide tires
