For those who are skeptical about a full ECU tune but want to add power, the Neuspeed power module is a true plug and play solution.
By intercepting the MAP and boost sensors, boost pressure is increased without changing any ECU programming, avoiding the warranty voiding TD1. The power module has a two position switch which allows for a +5 PSI increase on 91+ octane or a 7 PSI increase on 100+ octane.

Expected gains on +5 PSI setting:
1.8 TSI - 30+ HP/55 lb-ft
2.0 TSI: 35+ hp/70 lb-ft.
