Neuspeed and H&R sway bars

Question for those who have ran both the 24 mm H&R RSB and 25 mm Neuspeed. Did you notice an appreciable difference between the two when driving? Did you notice any squeaks or other unpleasant noises from either aftermarket bar?
Thanks

For the noise question -- The material on the H&Rs is teflon coated, so it won't require lubing. The Neuspeeds are urethane, which generally require maintenance.

Agree, I never had any noise with H&R sway bars. Even more,
their built quality is top notch.
I would still suggest to lubricate even these Teflon bushes to
reduce wear and avoid infringing dirt particles into the bushings.

I can't compare the two because I don't have experience with the Neuspeed ones. I bought H&R because of their reputation for quality and their Teflon bushings. I have been very pleased with it and have not had a single noise issue.

For those that have used the H&R RSB, specifically the 24mm variant, was there a noticeable increase in sharp corner rotation without upsetting mid corner balance on sweeping turns?

My concern is that since Neuspeed advertises their relative stiffness increase over OEM, I can mentally extrapolate what to expect. But with H&R, it's solid vs hollow (oem) and no relative stiffness increase is provided, which makes it difficult to compare. I'm worried that it would be too stiff and would upset the high speed stability just to gain a little extra rotation.

Cool on the bar. I'm sure you will like it. I have Neuspeed but I'm sure they are very similar performance-wise. My only complaint is not being satisfied with the end link options out there for the rear. You can tell the difference between stock and aftermarket.

I installed the bar yesterday. My impressions are that the difference is subtle but noticeable particularly at the limit. But even at less than irresponsible speeds, the front end feels "lighter" and easier to point in any direction i please. Near the limits when the tires start to protest my cornering speeds, it feels like i can push the car a little harder before the xds kicks in and you get the artificial rotation in the car.

All in all i'm happy as the improvement in rotation and handling is noticeable but without ruining the cars high speed balance. There's definitely more room to push it's handling balance even further. At the limit, without the electronic assists, i feel like the car would still understeer but less so the previously. Therefore, it's a good setup for a daily driven street car. If it were more of a dedicated autox car, i'd probably want the thicker RSB instead.

Those are my impressions. Next on the list of mods, some new lighter wheels with summer tires (probably in time for next summer), and a wavetrac LSD (longterm, maybe around 40k miles when i change the DSG fluid).

Thanks for reading.

Great feedback. Been torn between the 24 & 26, but only daily driven so that sounds perfect.

Good honest review there. I wonder how much flex is happening in the rear and if an XBQ would help noticeably.

I ordered both the H&R and the Nuespeed RSB. The H&R weighs like 10 times what the nuespeed weighs so I installed the nuespeed bar. Rides fine. Corners ok, but thats not the sway bar its just how the car is.

Are you saying you noticed no difference between the stock and Neuspeed rear bar on cornering?

With Black Friday approaching, I'm resurrecting this old thread...as mentioned above I have the Neuspeed 25mm RSB...and have also since added the H&R 26mm FSB.

I'm considering getting the H&R 24mm solid bar to match, and had also contemplated getting the 034 25mm solid/adjustable bar.

I'm assuming the H&R and Neuspeed bar difference is negligible from a performance perspective, and 034 would obviously be the stiffest of the three.

Anyone have any experience with two of these RSBs?
