Unless they have changed their stance they won't tune HPFP so that's out (you may want to ask). If you just plan to run pump gas then it's likely fine on stock fueling. They tend to be a bit conservative on fueling though and will probably recommend MPI+LPFP.

Yea I think Navi told me this before as well. I have an email out to them so we'll see what they say. I'd prefer not to touch my fueling at this point at all.

Then why not run Cobb?
Few reasons...
1. I don't really want to have to have the accessport in the car (pretty hideous) and not sure if I HAVE to have it.
2. I don't really want to have Ed tune it thru the Cobb as his customer service as of late seems to have gone down.
3. But the biggest reason is, I haven't done much research on it. Hence my lack of understanding on points 1 & 2. lol

1. You don't.
2. Fair. There are other tuners.

All the other tuners have their issues and baggage as well. I truly think I should be FINE w/o HPFP, thus meaning I can go with UM. If/when I ever decide to change fueling, I'd do LPFP + MPI anyways which UM can handle.

Fingers crossed Navi didn't curse me to get 380whp with UM and no HPFP. lol hoping for 400whp/400wtq

I didn't know there were any stage 3 turbos that didn't require fueling upgrades, is it just the TPC20 or any IS20 based turbo (standard vortex?)?

Oh so an aftermarket IS20 will lag more than a stock IS20 with both using stock fueling? That would definitely not be ideal.

Yep. All of these hybrids use bigger wheels. Bigger wheels spool slower. Some are better than others. None will spool remotely like an IS20.
But when comparing a hybrid is20 to a hybrid is38, the 20 should still spool faster.

You don't need to have the AP connected while driving. Although it does have nice gauges to monitor things.

You can schedule a remote dyno tune with EQT and be done in under 4 hours. That's what I did. I scheduled dyno time at a local shop and EQT was available right on time and it took 3 1/2 hours and 8 revisions to be complete.

You'll be able to keep the stock fueling and won't need the quite expensive MPI.
