Have you done math or adjusted MPG readout?

Yes, the last tank came out to 40.6 MPG. 456.8 miles / 11.242 gallons

I have been reading your posts on reaching 500 miles which shows it is possible for me to do the same but I do not
want to risk getting stranded or burning up the fuel pump. My goal was to see how high I could get mileage wise.

I used 93 octane gas. I wish I could find 93 octane marine gas but in my area it is always 87. I know one place
that sells 90 marine gas but I don't think that is worth trying.

Years ago I used to do this thing all the time. I did 36.4 MPG in a '92 Golf GL using 89 marine gas. That was hard
since there were no monitoring what so ever along the way. Did 43.8 MPG in my '15 Passat using 89 marine gas.
