Sweet car. It's definitely a muscle car though. Even lowered it looks high up off the ground.

Nice car! The biggest issue I had with this car was the lack of rear tire width resulting in less than stellar power delivery. Much like my current FWD GTI dilemma.

Look under the car in this pic and you'll see why I didn't lower it more. Longtubes are expensive and I don't like the sound of my expensive shit scraping on the ground :thumbdown:

One major downside to the GTO is not being able to put a lot of tire underneath it since the wheel wells are so narrow. Mine had that suspension rub on the front inner tires that had a tendency to shred the sidewalls.

With the 8.5"+35s on the front I never had an issue, with coilovers the clearance improves even more. But yea, I had 275s in the rear and that's the max before tubbing it. Makes me jealous of Vettes being able to fit 335s
