Had it paint corrected and ceramic coated ...installed a bumperdillo,
@2700-miles did Airlift Performance struts, 3p management. (Self installed, no holes drilled in any sheet metal for install.)

ugh, I got a GFG SE this year and the headliner leaked this month at 7K miles. I really want to own this car to 200K miles, and if my pano continues to be an issue after I drop it off at the dealer on Friday for who knows how long, I will really regret not going with an S model.

100% the exact reason I went with an S-model, I plan on keeping this car for a very long time... the extra tech or nicer seats with the SEL would have been nice, but weren’t a deal breaker....., but the standard pano-roof on the upper-trims was....

And I also really want grey Pretoria’s + IS20 to round out a true bastardization of a GTI-R-Alltrack hybrid lol.

Recently got a new shift knob from BFI...not an exact match, but as close as it’s gonna get... also picked up a set of Whispbar’s...
And finally got around to installing the TT spring pads in the rear to be able to run lower pressures for daily driving but still gain a little extra lift ....and stock wheels back on for winter...
might sell the OZR’s ... or get them powder coated silver to match all the accent trim...have t quite decided which way I want to go yet...

Nice colour & without a pano....!!..

Many of the non-stand items can be retro-fitted.....& easier than trying to remove the pano on a higher spec car!!

When I got my top spec (for 2014) pano was optional...but when the run out MK7 ed & the run in MK7.5 ed came out for a period of two years pano was standard!!

Finally got my windows tinted… 70% Suntek ceramic blue (aka: Mercedes tint) it’s super subtle, which is what I wanted… I hate dark tint.

Also decided to head to Florida for vacation, which coincidentally aligns with being able to attend Eurotripper… so the summer wheels got new tires for the rears ( sketchy plug job because of road debris)

Then nature had its own plans the night before we left… so I had to clean the car off and install the roof box the

But … made it to Florida…
