i so wish racing line made that in aluminum as well.
$500+ new for a carbon brace that would do the same as one made of alu or steel for a 1/4 of the price is insane.

Totally agree. I had a Eurosport Rear X Brace on my previous GTI, but I wasn’t a fan of cutting the carpet and drilling into the interior.

Full paint correction complete! (11 hours in total)
Steps:
1.) Clean exterior of vehicle thoroughly (2 Bucket Method).
2.) Apply Iron Remover and rinse off
3.) Clay Bar each panel
4.) X-TRA CUT Compound paired with a medium-heavy cutting foam pad
5.) SONAX Perfect Finish paired with a light-medium polishing foam pad
6.) Apply Surface Prep to remove all compound/polish residue
7.) Apply Adam's Advanced Graphene Ceramic Coating in 3'x3' sections
8.) Let Product cure for 24 hours
9.) Apply Adam's Polishes Graphene Booster

Removed the Silica Bag located in the coolant reservoir tank. If this bag tears, the silica inside can damage the heater core and the coolant system. To remove the bag, I just used needle nose pliers.

Why do they put the silca pouch in?
The silica pouch was pre-installed in the coolant reservoir from VW for a couple of years, and then it was revised back to a reservoir without the pouch. The silica was supposed to extend the life of the coolant and prevent corrosion in the coolant system, but it will do more harm than good if the pouch tears. If your coolant tank says "mit silikat" next to the level indicator, you have the silica pouch in your reservoir.

Not much of an update as I have been away at college without the car. The car got its first wash since Thanksgiving and the Adams Advanced Graphene Coating is working perfectly. My stockpile of parts is still accumulating...
Picked up some used 034 Rear Subframe Inserts for cheap and finally unboxed the HAWK Talon Rotors.
While cleaning my wheels, I noticed a bulge in my passenger front tire. These DSW06+ tires were installed before I purchased the car, so the warranty won't transfer to me. They only have 4k miles on them, so I just decided to purchase one replacement tire.
