Moving to US from Canada with Vehicle

There is lots of incorrect information in this thread. Importing a car from Canada is different from importing a car from Europe or Asia.

The self leveling lights are clearly not an issue and the dual scale speedo shouldn't be an issue either.

Read the regs I posted above.

Does US not allow car light to have manual leveling??
For speedo, I think the digital speed display can be changed to MPH but the analog one does not have MPH (I know some Canadian cars show both KPH and MPH in the analog speedo but apparently not our cars).
Man these are so much trouble to go through...
To clarify.

It's NOT a measure of tailpipe emissions.

It's just an obd scan to make sure car passes readiness state. You can fail 1 of 9 and still pass. That means if you're stage 2 tuned, you can still pass.

I don't take that chance and just stick with non test pipe tunes i.e. tunes for OEM downpipe even though I have an aftermarket one.

I would read the regulations though cause I tend to spew misinformation. Not intentionally but due to my horrible memory 🤣
