Motive brake bleeder adapter

Just want to confirm that Motive adapter #1100 and #1109 will fit on a Mk 7.5 GTI master cylinder. Motive's website says the inner diameter "at the threads" for those adapters is 45 mm, but when I measure the master cylinder cap on my car, I'm getting 43 mm diameter when measured between the peaks of the threads. Thanks.

I have a Mk7 GTI and these adapters work on mine, one is plastic and the other is aluminum. I think that the overall diameter is measured and not between the peaks of the threads. I doubt if VW would have changed the master cylinder reservoir and cap just for the change in the exterior appearance.

I have both 1100 and 1109. They both work on my GTI. Get 1109. It's better.

Not sure on PN, but I can confirm the mk7 and 7.5 both have the same threads

Thanks, all. I should have explained that I had a fitment issue w/ my 2016 Mazda CX-9. The cap didn't match the measurement of Motive's recommended adapter, so I reached out to them and they said it should fit. It didn't. So I didn't want to deal with that annoyance again.
