Hi, this is my Golf's calendar. I have bought it in 2014 and she has been a faithful companion.
I shall be documenting here whatever I do with or to the car in case anyone finds it interesting or helpful.

The car is a Golf mk7, 1.4 TSI CZEA, 5 door, with several extras and hopefully she will receive more!

About two days ago I FINALLY bought new shoes for my girl.
Originally she had Michelin energy, lasted for 4 years. Then she had Michelin Primacy 4 for 6 years.
None of these were particularly grippy tyres, but they were VERY reliable. The Primacy was at 3.5 mm thread and they were still decent.
Well, by decent I mean not dangerous, since the car was typically going through 3rd gear with TC engaged...

I am a family man now and this was no longer acceptable. Greek roads are horrible when it comes to grip, so I had to do something.

Long story short, she now rides on a combination of OZ Ultraleggera 7.5Jx17 and Continental PremiumContact 7 225/45R17 91V.

Two words: FINALLY, GRIP.

She's gorgeous! Love the color, we never got that shade of red here in the US. The Ultralegerras look great on there as well

I had many doubts on Ultraleggeras... let's simply say they are... industrially designed. But they just fit the rest of the car design so perfectly!
You never got that shade of red? I knew the US has an epidemic of grey, black and white colored cars, but not that much that you do not get options that are simply there in production!
The color is also metallic and today we had a rainy day here, so you don't get to appreciate the beauty of that color!
FYI, the color is sunset red, and the code might be 6K6K.
