Mk7 suspension issues/noises/advice. CLICK HERE FIRST!

Took me a million years to figure this out. Been having this since april. To be fair, 99% of the time between then and now is not me trying to diagnose it but.
I finally figured out the noise.
If you hear this:

It is your LCA bushings!

Tie rod, ball joint, end links and steering rack all confirmed to be in proper working order.
One thing I noticed is, when it was raining out. The noise was MASSIVELY toned down.
Went and sprayed the bushings with the hose like crazy and sure enough, they got quieter.

Ok, my turn.

2015 TDI.

Had a clunk when unloading the suspension, generally from an abrupt stop when the car raises back up... clunk!

Replaced the struts, strut bearings, strut mounts (new hardware as well) and sway bar links (aftermarket basic). No play for tie rod end or ball joint (although might as well replace all of those in the spring)

Now, still a clunk when unloading the suspension from an abrupt stop. No real change in the noise.

I do still need to retorque the sway bar end links with some load on the suspension. Will report back if it's that, but otherwise kinda stumped.
