mk7 Sportwagen for the U.S.?

so Im seeing MK7 GTI's, TDi's and now R's almost eveywhere ..... as VWoA has chosen for f*ck us over an NOT bring the Golf-R wagen variant to the U.S., anyone know when we're supposed to get the NEW Mk7 based sportwagen?

VW'swebsite still shows the (early) mk6 jetta based wagen :/

in lieu of the R-wagen now, I'm thinking maybe it's time to go low-and-slow with a TDi , manual ....

The new Golf Sportwagen (GSW) have arrived.

Each dealership in San Diego has 1. Most of them sold within 1-2 days. April is technically the announced arrival. So you should see more these coming weeks.

As for the Golf R Sportwagen, there has been no confirmation that we will even get it in US. I believe they are waiting to see how the GSW sells.

4motion and the updated MiB2 headunit are expected 2016. I also heard 4motion might even be 2017.

Visited NY autoshow this last weekend. And All track is on our way in US in 2016. While sportswagon is already for sale here.
