Need help with navigation. Purchased my 2015 GTI MK7 used and the SD card was missing for navigation. I purchased updated SD card from VW. Navigation system won't read card. Took car in and VW couldn't see any issue with navigation and ordered new card, same problem. Everything else on radio works just fine. No codes from OBD computer. Any ideas what needs to be checked?

Maybe you don’t have navigation, is you GTI an Autobahn?

Yeah you'd think VW would notice that and tell him but that's my first thought too. I didn't even think the nav system needed an SD card to work.

Pretty sure the 2015 MIB1 w/ Nav had a "Nav" button on it. So, that should be a surefire sign.

Warranty question:

Would warranty cover my steering wheel leather fading to the point where parts of it are now grey not black? I've only had the car for 5.5k miles. Steering wheel leather was like new when I first got it.

Did you remove the tool organizer? I can remember but there should be place for on the side or the bottom, unbuckle the tool/jack tray

I guess bumper to bumper really does mean everything. I'll have to take it in for a replacement after my steering wheel cover arrives. Thanks.

Just do it the American way and jam a flathead in there. You can find one that fits
