Gauze doesn't look too damaged, slight damage to the outside netting is fine.

Contrary to Christopher, I'd leave it visible at the top. If the gauze structure changes (opens, tears, etc), then replace.

Can anyone confirm that the torque spec for the dogbone puck bolt is still 130nm + 90 degrees even if you are not installing an insert?

Is there any alternate fuse position for the rear 12v plug (in the mk7 R if that kinda thing matters) that would convert it from always on to switched power? If so, have a diagram handy? If not I'll probably just get a relay from Amazon.

I know for the front 12v plug the fuse location difference is simply moving it half a location up

AFAIR both 12v plug are one the same fuse so this method:

should do the trick

Hey, thank you both! I managed to get it sorted out. It did affect both 12v plugs which was a bonus!

it's all based on the station pushing it.....I have some that are perfect at it and others that lag by 20 songs or so
