Technically could I use a 3000PSI pressure washer to blast the intake valves clean? If it's strong enough to take off graffiti from walls and clean driveways it should be able to clean the valves in like 3 seconds amirite? Or would water push the valve down and allow water in?
Just curious.....

For those running a VIOFO A129…..

Mine looks to be in a constant state of rebooting and the only way to get it to start is a hard reset.

Anyone run into something like this?

Technically you could use hydrochloric acid or a jackhammer, but no, a pressure washer isn't a good idea.

I have an A229 but I think the front cam is the same. Mine is doing the same thing I think? Sometimes it'll trigger and it looks like the bottom of the screen is scrolling up the screen. No clue what's causing it. Sill works fine but the screen is funky. Are you hardwired?

Hardwired and was working perfectly until a week ago. Recording light fast blinking but never boots up

Weird, maybe plug it in to a computer and see if it needs an update or if you can factory reset it?
When I hard reset it, it works until I shut the car off. When I turn the car back on, it goes back into the fast blinking. Might try and plug my laptop to it and see if there needs to be an update. Good idea

cant tell if serious
Bro think about it. Would revolutionize the process. 12 seconds to clean 4 cylinders? And the water would just blast itself out with the carbon gunk. Some guy tried zip ties and it worked. Wouldn't this work?
Somebody should try it. I don't own a pressure washer unfortunately.

I recently got a replacement dogbone mount/arm because I'm replacing the bushing. I got the Lemförder one, but it came so tight it doesn't articulate, at least by hand. My stock one bends easily. Is it supposed to be that stiff or should I loosen it?

you also probably aren't making as much torque with your bare hands on the mount as the engine is, I'm gonna vote leave it alone. It'll likely articulate once vibration and whatnot wears things down a little.

Two questions:

Anyone running the Revo engine & tranny mount upgrade kit?

my cf mirrors look shitty after sitting in the Texas sun. What are better options? Just get expensive ones from like Premium Duetsche Carbon or similar?
If they are real carbon fiber take them out, wet sand with 1500 and clear coat them with 2k clear. Give them a month to "gas out", sometimes not necessary, but just in case. After that coat them with ceramic to protect from UV. A lot of times cheap manufacturers don't clear coat their products, carbon fiber (or any "glass" product) epoxy is not UV resistant at all.

If they are fake carbon, toss them in the trash and get real ones.
