noDoes a brake pad swap require a ABS calibration?
It is not. I have seen at least 3 different versions.Does anyone know if the dog bone (specifically the black part in pic) is the same in all versions of the Golf? (TSI/GTI/R)
Using metal to add rigidity in a bushing will always do this. Avoid metal inserts or metal bearing'd arms if that vibration bothers you. Also recently (yesterday) got 034 lower and upper dogbone mounts installed, while I was expecting some NVH, mine seems more pronounced than other reviews suggest, i get a big vibration when pulling away that resonates through cabin and also happen at points during WOT in 1/2/3. I noticed the lower mount is sitting slightly off center, does anyone know if it should be perfectly straight?
Coincidentally, I just dropped off oil to ship back to them last night to see if the whole process was worth it. They accepted oil, oil filter, and drain plug on the RMA form so I sent it all back to see what I get in credit.Used FCP Euros lifetime warranty and returned a water pump. Now I have $300 in credit. Do they still warranty oil? Get me that fancy green stuff. Website says "One-time use items: Consumable items intended for single use are ineligible for warranty or LRG returns. Examples include additives, cleaners, shop supplies, etc." I assume motor oil is single use consumable....
Seems like they're all 30mm. My ST40 are 30mm too. Is there a reason?30mm
I thought this was the stupid questions thread, you must be looking for the stupid answers one.Buy 034 parts, get 034 results.
As noted in my post, its not that the vibration bothers me, its that mine appears more excessive than others suggest, so I am trying to determine if it is installed correctly. It is not. I have seen at least 3 different versions.
