Aight. Put a reminder on my calendar to send it out in July 2025 🤣

Kidding, I'll get it over to you once the new one comes in. '

And I believe so, I didn't hear of anyone else on the list, and as far as I though, he liked it in his car lol.
Yeah it’s still sitting in there, to be fair I’ve also not driven the car with in there yet either 😂

I will post later on the Conti Sport 02 thread, but just want to update they are now 2,000mi old and they have gotten a lot louder honestly... I want to say they are louder than my old P Zero AS+ with 30k mi.... It might not be the decibel level, but the frequency, its a bit ear piercing after 50mph.... it changes with the type of road surface, but the roads I mainly use are getting brutal... Almost making me think its a wheel bearing or even diff issue...
Curious to hear what you find. True my set is new and I have no real highway miles on them yet, but that will change after my brake pads get changed out.

My Conti 02 have around 12k mile already, they are a little noisier than when new, but not bad at all. Noise is mostly on concrete highways. Wet grip rivals the MPS4S that I had before, but the MPS4S beats them in any standing water. The MPS4S do shed (or displace) standing water way better than the Conti 02.

If I want to transport a currently-assembled turbo back exhaust in my golf, what's the best way to take it apart?
Detach DP from rest of exhaust
Separate midpipe and rear muffler

I am considering upgrading the turbo this winter, probably with the IS38+ that EQT has. Will there be a benefit of upgrading the LPFP at the same time? They have the option on their tune page at no cost. I do plan on upgrading the injectors to the Golf R as well, since the car is over 80k miles.

I thought about going Vortex, but for a daily I don't think it would be necessary and I can save almost $1.5k+ between the difference in price, HPFP or MPI, and the custom tune at this time.

Has anyone ever seen anything that would add a storage bin/shelf/cubby to the rear side windows in the wagon? I don't need them for visibility but I'm always looking to add some extra storage places of smaller things.

Also any cinch straps that can also be velcro'd to the back of the seats or sides?

Not sure the fueling would require it.

Also check out Strats 2260 and tune for 1800 OTD…. Great upgrade

Entirely depends on fuel. if only doing 91/93, I say no. If any amount of E, I would do LPFP/MPI.

Up to E30 you’re okayish with hpfp. I’ll most likely upgrade to MPI at some point but hpfp has suited me fine

Okayish on fuel doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies. Too close to the edge for me.

All about finding that edge with your tuner. Being flex fuel tuned is great

Found this beautiful mess today while working on my car. I think this is the aftermath from a leak that happened a while ago. I did have to add coolant to it 2.5 weeks ago because it was below the minimum line. I then did a track day the next day on 8/21/24. I think this may have happened at an earlier track day on 7/7/24 because it was hot that day, 93 F, and I did quite a few sessions.

Anyone else have a leak in this same area? I've read a lot about people having coolant leaks related to the thermostat housing/waterpump, but I think this is different. The DSG cooler is right there, but I didn't see any obvious sources of the leak. Haven't driven it since I noticed all of this dried coolant, will be checking this area now after I drive it.

Hi, I have a few questions. I have an Australian Golf MK7 2017 1.4 (CZCA) 6 speed manual. Car has recently been tuned to stage one. Car has 61,000km on it.

Clutch has just started slipping and I had planned to upgrade to a sachs performance clutch anyway so that is now on the way, however when getting quotes one has added machining flywheel to quote. This got me looking into it and I have been unable to confirm if my car has a dual or single mass flywheel, does anyone have any ideas? and with 61k on it would you suggest replacing if DMF or replacing or machining if SMF? Thanks in advance.

It depends on what PR you have.
G1C,7GR: 04E 105 266
G1C: 03F 105 266 C
G0K: 03C 105 269 P superseded by 03C 105 269 AK

By the prices, the last one should be SMF (almost half the price of 04E and 03F)
