This would actually not be an awful use for one of those cheap auto part store cone filters, get a huge one and clamp it over the intake end of the blower. All our stuff is electric, since it sits over the winter and I just don't care to screw with 2-cycle. Our mower is still gas but only because it was free (someone had it out for trash, didn't need much attention to make it work) and the moment it asks me for more than filters, a plug, and oil it's going right into a landfill

You might want to take a close look. Remember that it doesn't take a lot of debris at 80mph to scratch your paint
my level of give a crap isn't high enough to care tbh......it's a daily and front end paint is already decently chewed up from road debris.....speed of no water spots is more important to me. Honestly, if i could get a spotless water system........that would rock!

Soft water filter. It really does work. Water spots and drips wipe away even after they've been sitting a bit.

That being said, buying 180$+ of K-salt every 6-8 months sucks

On a short drive today and coolant warning light came on. I pulled over and checked the coolant reservoir and there was almost nothing in it.

Turn the car off and this is what I see. This happened all of a sudden, so would my first thought. Be water pump?

That's an easy fix.

Yeah spray pattern indicates it's coming from bottom side of that hose.....will pick up a SS screw clamp to replace that oem clamp. tell me you don't have to drain the system to replace that.......I'll just clamp that hose and swap....at least that's the plan

No draining required. You can cut the OEM clamp, leaving the hose installed and then put your screw clamp on.
