yeah I need one with the prongs at the end, to get over the caliper lip...was going to amazon it, but harbor freight makes sense

I went cheap when I bought mine. Only very rarely need one, and I needed something while building an air cooled engine, and that one fit the bill.

Yeah I’m sure I’ll use this once a year lol

Can a colder range spark plug cause a misfire at idle that leads to a CEL?

No misfire at speed, will need to log. Will update with that tomorrow or the day after, but I'm seeing random CELs that are triggered by misfires

Thanks, I didn't realize all those would stack! Looks like about $20 off for me as well, I'm placing the order.
Exactly this. Just click all the listed coupons and add it to your cart. During check out, there's a thing at the top to select $20 off.
Recommend using the Honey browser extension as well, knocked off another 8 bucks on top of the coupons. They've also got some site-wide sale going on too, so if anyone needs anything from Mr. Zhong, might be a good time to stock up.

Yes, a plug that is too cold could cause an engine to stumble or misfire.

But bad enough to toss a CEL? That's the real problem lol, on start I'll randomly toss a CEL, but logs look clean

Put in normal plugs and see. Why do you need colder plugs?

I don't know what the trigger is for a CEL.

It’s a Vortex XL car - was suggested by the tuner (EQT). It sees light track use.

Well I’ll step out of the conversation with that, as I don’t have the knowledge surrounding what’s needed with the vortex.

I know colder plugs can cause misfires, and like I said I don’t know what the threshold for those are until a CEL is triggered.

Car was on driveway all day/night in rain (45 degree angle)…..

Opened hatch…..water came pouring out from within the inside hatch plastic …..

Took top and sides apart during lunch at work and the top piece had water still standing in it. I’ll take apart lower portion at home, but…..

Could it be the when sitting at an angle with tons of rain it somehow opens a magic portal to inside the hatch??

Common leak spots are 3rd brake light, accordian boot wire covers, sharkfin antenna and the roof rails or sunroof if you have them.

There are others for the rear but those are the only ones that would leak into the upper hatch trim.

Ensure the accordian boots are tight against the bodywork or they'll leak, and at an incline you put the hatch boot face right in the path of draining water.

Move to the desert, no rain.
