Yeah, as you said rears expected and not a concern, the front one could have been there from the connector losing clear signal for a moment or even could be from something as simple as you disconnecting the battery at some point since the last time you cleared codes.

Perhaps it was the crater sized pothole I hit in NJ last week… could be anything I guess. I suppose I’ll just carry on.

So golfmk6 had a "Random / "Stupid" Questions Thread", can we start one up here? (unless there is one and i just missed it)



The goal of this thread is to allow people to ask random questions (related to mk7 stuff) and to ask "stupid" questions without getting flammed (such as "this is my first GTI, does it have a turbo?").



It's a great place for teh n00bz, experienced folks and enthusiasts.



The mk6 one was pretty good because we had a few people that were always active in the thread and very helpful. I think this thread would be valuable once it gets up and running. It'll help de-clutter other subforums too.

Morning guys, 1st time doing this so bear with. Iv got a mark 7 tsi golf on a 66 plate, my back interior lights won't go off until she's locked. Yes they are when driving. Also it's not done this long

Fuck the haters. I live in Sacramento and we had like 7 inches of rain in the last year. Last recorded precipitation was in January at like .25". I can't stand that stupid wiper as it makes me feeling like I'm driving an estate car.

Thank you for the feedback on the kit though. I was looking at Kill All Wipers plus ESC Tuning, UroTuning, Raceline and APR. You've save me some research for sure.

Little add on piece on the top is the oem rabbit edition add on and the bottom duck bill type is aerofabb

When I got mine, my wife looked at it and said "can you find another one with the brown interior?" - so I did. I think I found the last new SEL with the brown interior in the US.

She's a retired Marine, so I know when to salute.

It sounds like you hit the switch in the overhead, have you checked them yet? They turn off when the car is locked, even when set to "on" to prevent draining the battery.

thanks! i was running the maxton gloss insert on the stock on for a while, but once i got the side skits with the gloss lower section the rear texture had to go fully.

Yes, IMO a foolish design. The rear on/off switch is overridden by the front on/off switch. The rear switch can turn it on/off and the front switch can turn it on/off, but the rear switch can't turn it off if the front switch is on.

First...coil puller? Is it really that hard to pull the coils without this?

Also outside of looking cool are the APR coils worth the near $100 difference to say these from usp?

You won't need a coil puller. Just get the engine up to operating temp before pulling them off and they'll slide right out.
