Makes sense. So this part https://www.powerflexusa.com/shop/p...ower-engine-mount-hybrid-bushing-large-b-2437 replaces the entire bushing as well?Simply put, the powerflex insert is just two small little stakes that go up into the upper bushing. The 034 upper insert is still a better insert because you install a part that fills much more of the upper void than all the 2-in-1 lower+upper inserts.
Yes, that's the hybrid mount that replaces the lower bushing with inserts for the upper bushingMakes sense. So this part https://www.powerflexusa.com/shop/p...ower-engine-mount-hybrid-bushing-large-b-2437 replaces the entire bushing as well?
Got it. Should I go straight to that instead of the insert? Car only has 2k miles still.Yes, that's the hybrid mount that replaces the lower bushing with inserts for the upper bushing
The upper and lower inserts look like a taller stage 1 insert as it just fills the voids in the upper and lower bushings.

Edit: Make sure you order the correct type for your Dog bone style. They have a A and B model depending on which you have.
Yes, the hybrid is a great optionGot it. Should I go straight to that instead of the insert? Car only has 2k miles still.
Yeah the hybrid replaces the lower bushing and inserts into the upper bushing. The insert inserts into both the lower and upper bushings.Makes sense. So this part https://www.powerflexusa.com/shop/p...ower-engine-mount-hybrid-bushing-large-b-2437 replaces the entire bushing as well?

Seeing as you've already replaced the lower bushing I'd say go for it. The inserts are a nice choice for those unsure about NVH as it's easy to remove and you don't have to cut out the lower Dogbone bushing - plus you can use the red diesel insert for softer still. If you've already modded it, I'd go full hybrid.Got it. Should I go straight to that instead of the insert? Car only has 2k miles still.
Change the electrons with every blinker fluid flush.Electric power steering
With our cars getting up there in mileage, any service need to get done to prolong the life?
Or is it a stupid question because it is an electric motor and replace the electric motor when it fails?

DSG here so I might just stick to the insert then.Yeah, especially if you have a manual. Manuals really benefit from the hybrid with little of the NVH. DSGs get more NVH from hybrid bushing.

Yeah, exactly my thoughts. Thanks for your help!Yeah especially since you can try the insert first and see if you want more, I think that’s the better route.
I'm just waiting to see the offer to remove them for $$$$.anybody annoyed with these ads when using the forum now
