Plus they are pretty fat at 3.6-3.7k lbs!
Curb weight is 3,292lbs in it's lightest form, but it does FEEL heavier for some reason.

Must be a different version 3,561 lbs ?
lol the poor soul who bought a nismo and is slower than a base. so average is around 105mph? an R would definitely be able to keep up, i dont think it will be overtaking the Z, but it can definitely hang.
Truth is, the nismo has the same engine and transmission. It has better suspension and a slightly better exhaust....annnndddd that's about it. I never understood why everyone was so hard up for a nismo when it's close to the same car as a base 370Z for 10k+ more. I remember I got my 370Z for 28k brand new, the nismo was 40K...
i thought it was 350hp vs the base 336hp? its cause the nismo badge looks faster lol
Fellow R owner here who used to own a 370Z.
I hate to say anyone is full of it or anything, but stock for stock a *manual* R is not going to hang with a 370z (manual or auto) like this. A DSG R would fair a lot better, but holding boost in between shifts is what helps it.
Now, my current R (ED stg 1.5 93oct) would put a good hurting my old 370Z (Stillen gen 3 CAI, test pipes, catback, UpRev tune).
And no, I'm not trying to stir whole manual vs dsg thing again. It's just what I have experienced driving both.
I think you forget how slow a 370z is. A 6M is better for roll racing than a DSG and a DSG is better from a dig than 6M.

You’re wrong. Dsg is better from a roll also, there simply isn’t any boost dump on shifts, the more shifts the more the distance grows.
