That gauge you linked comes with its own sensor. Why do you think you can connect it to the factory one? At the very least doing so will throw some kind of code when the ECU can no longer read one of its sensors. At worst the stock sensor could be damaged by connecting to this gauge or the gauge could be damaged by the sensor output.
