Mk7 oil filter confusion

Anyone know the difference between a wix oil filter wl10024 and a wl10396? Wix parts finder has the 10396 listed as correct for a 2019 gti but other sites also list the 10024 which I have.

Looks like the same but newer. From the Wix site:

The 10396 took the place of the 10024. I have been purchasing the 10396 off of RockAuto since I bought the car and it's been great but if you have a 10024 it should work fine.
