Mk7 gti s infotainment not reading sd card music

I transported wav files from iTunes and seperate each album by folder. When I insert the sd card into the infotainment system I keep getting a message that it cannot read any files. Do I need to make a directory that says “music” in order for it to read the wav files? Thanks!

Thank you Kevin. I will have to re-read that thread again as iit seems there’s more involvement with transferring. I just wanted to make sure if it’s capable of reading wav files?

Not sure it reads .wav files. I just checked mine, and they're .mp3's

Mine is mostly WMA files.

I straight imported my iTunes wav files onto the sd card and even renamed the folders to music. When I put it in the infotainment system, it still cannot read the files. The sd cards format is fat32 which from I hear is one of the correct formats that the system will take.
