So I read the whole thread and I didn’t exactly see an answer to my question. I currently have a CTS Turbo catted downpipe with the stock catback and I am going to be getting my catback replaced at my local custom exhaust shop. I already ordered the 17950 and plan to take it over this weekend to get put on but I can’t make a decision on the muffler. Is is there a muffler that is louder than the Borla XS Pro but quieter than a muffler delete? I know the CSS muffler is usually the go to choice but I don't want to spend that much money on just a muffler. I also looked into the Magnaflow but it was my understanding that they are on the same level as the Borla in terms of sound suppression. The tone of the Borla is perfect, I just want it to be a bit louder. If anyone has some suggestions, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

i did catless then added a cat cause how bad it was (3 days), the 19750 will probably work better for the drone VS the one you have now if it small... but i will say adding the cat really alters the sound and kills the rasp... you should do that first and see if that's enough.

Ideally for these cars to sound good you want a highflow cat, vibrant 17950, and a muffler. The size & design of the muffler will control volume.
