Interesting to see what the standard on 93 puts down. I would have expected it into 9 sec range. What is your supporting mod list? This is my mt6 gti with a vortex standard on 93 octane

For that to happen, it would need ethanol.Interesting to see what the standard on 93 puts down. I would have expected it into 9 sec range. What is your supporting mod list?
After what I've been through, I would never recommend NLS unless they have a dedicated drag clutch for it.Nah. More boost and NLS. Done.

More boost? Do you know how much boost he is already running?
Yeah that’s really good for a stock downpipe, my time can be up to a second faster or slower all depending on how hot it is outsideSolid! The DTR is clearly no Vortex especially with stock DP, more like an IS38++.
I’m not mad though, I’ve gone from mid-12s to 11-flat with the DA drop and removing my roof rack/fairing. Not expecting miracles, but I’m sure it’s got a bit more in it even without dropping any weight.
My car has just a downpipe cts fmic and a hpfp and I’m on stock sensors so just 28 psi the vortex can go up to 32 on better sensors, and my time I’m sure could definitely be in the mid to low 9 sec in cool weather this was 82 degreesInteresting to see what the standard on 93 puts down. I ask because I am vortex XL on stock sensors with HPFP on 93 and my times are faster though my DA was better. My car has just a downpipe cts fmic and a hpfp and I’m on stock sensors so just 28 psi the vortex can go up to 32 on better sensors, and my time I’m sure could definitely be in the mid to low 9 sec in cool weather this was 82 degrees
What was your da and how cool was it? And are you a dsg? What’s your timeI ask because I am vortex XL on stock sensors with HPFP on 93 and my times are faster though my DA was better.
Pretty sure it is in this thread somewhere. 6MT, 2 door no spare, jack or rear seats netted.an 8.88. With the seats in I was low 9s.What was your da and how cool was it? And are you a dsg? What’s your time
That’s good, my car is a 2 door as well, I’m petty sure my car will drop 1 plus seconds in 40 degrees weather hope I can make it in the 8 sec range but I would be happy with a 9.0Pretty sure it is in this thread somewhere. 6MT, 2 door no spare, jack or rear seats netted.an 8.88. Who cares if it is a -1000da almost all records have a good da plus its just for a personal record anyway, and all cars run better in better da,-1000ft DA runs with weight reduction is the definition of a corner case.
The ability to run a full weight 8.xx above 80F & 2000-3000-ft DA consistently and you got a moderately quick MQB. And one that is well spec'd to do so repeatedly.
Would guess that 8.88s would have been a high 9s at a reasonable temp/DA at best.
Who cares if your cars runs X.XX time at all then if you want to get all existential about it.Who cares if it is a -1000da almost all records have a good da plus its just for a personal record anyway, and all cars run better in better da,
The key word is personal record/ My car record , plus in the winter where I live it’s is always a negative DAWho cares if your cars runs X.XX time at all then if you want to get all existential about it.
You must be hunting for the stock block, stock sensor, no tools or spare but subwoofer installed record.
Looking forward to your results.
